@Gargron@mastodon.social Well, usually because the only reason to be there is arriving into the city by bus (where you spend a brief time here), or more commonly, leaving the city by bus.
And when you want to be at home, you're left stood waiting for a bus that hasn't turned up in one of the most ugly spots in the city center, where there is always some "action" happening - drunks, drug addicts, pick pockets, groups of chavs causing trouble.
Manchester has some great spots, but this isn't one of them.
